Police hunt ‘Trolley Man’ over burglaries, bail breach

Authorities are trying to find the person who was dubbed ‘Trolley Man’ after final week’s terror assault on Bourke Road, Melbourne.

Detectives have informed 9News Michael Rogers, 46, is needed over a lot of current burglaries within the CBD and St Kilda areas, together with a breach of bail circumstances.

Mr Rogers, who’s homeless, garnered widespread acclaim on social media after video emerged of him attempting to cease offender Hassan Khalif Shire Ali with a metallic trolley.

“I simply needed to assist and do one thing proper for the primary time in me (sic) life,” he informed The Age on Monday.

The newspaper revealed Mr Rogers has served jail time previously, and has had points with medication.

In wake of the fear assault, a crowdfunding marketing campaign was launched for the 46-year-old, elevating greater than $100,000 in only a few days.
